After last weekend at Nellis BMX and the first ever King Of Vegas BMX Series our riders Chad Jasinski & Rob Phillips are both in the top 10 of the 7 race series ending on this summer. After a consistent night of laps Rob Phillips put the Eliminator colors into the #2 position in the series points. Stop number 2 on the series will be this Friday night In Boulder City, NV and the rest of the team will be in Virgin, Utah for the NBL Regional this weekend.

After a few weeks of non stop racing from the Sea Otter Classic, NBL Regional, ABA National's and more we are moving on to May with a whole list of races for the month. This pas weekend Patrick Doty placed 2nd in Cruiser along with 3rd both days in class at the ABA US Nationals in Tulare, CA. On May 23rd of this month Cody Wilson & Nathan Mellone will embark overseas to represent the United States at the World Championship. Were on the way with the first few months of the year and a few good races have already been ran with our attendance. Thanks to our 2008 sponsors and program we have lot’s of exciting things happening during the season. With a few new riders, the same great sponsor list with a few additions and a solid foundation returning in 2008 our results have already been very promising for some long term point chases. We came back from Boulder City, Nevada and the NBL/UCI National and are off next week for Las Vegas, NV for to bring home some regional champions at the NBL National & Western Regional Championships. The NBL National Season has came to an end just a couple weeks ago. You can read about the trip to the NBL Grands and the other races from August in the Gate 8 Team Newsletter. Next weekend watch for us in San Diego at the ABA State finals & the following weekend in Ontario, CA at the Redline Cup Finals. The weekend prior we were in Lucerne Valley, CA for yet another NBL State Qualifier. The points chases will come close for the championship the first week in October. Stay tuned as the championship season is upon us and we hope to take some titles as the year finishes!

It's been a busy couple months for the entire team. Two Eliminator riders just returned from the UCI BMX World Championships in Canada. Cody Wilson came back with #4 in the world along with Austin Carlson bringing home the #7. Click here to read more about the UCI Worlds. Look for us this wekeend going green in Reedley, CA at the Air Time National for the NBL National Series. Our team will be out racing on St. Patricks day with a little special edition green flying on the track complimented by SockGuy Custom Socks. Our lucky shamrocks are not needed on our feet as we will be stomping into the race weekend with new force. Look for a new rider at the race. The 11 Exerpt class will have Austin Carlson debutin his Eliminator Racing colors this weekend along with all of our other team riders continuing their national season.

We are back from the Lake Mead National in Boulder City, NV with some exciting news. The start of our 2007 efforts were a serious accomplishement. Not only did we show up with our riders, but we showed up with our New Sponsors. Most of our sponsors are the same as previous years but we are very excited to announce our newsest sposnor to our list with Kuwahara Bicycles. Our team heads off this weekend to Santa Barbara, CA to close out the NBL state series with the annual awards ceremony on Sunday, but before we do that we will be getting a jump start on the 2007 state season on Saturday by racing the first qualifer race. All of this after just returning from a succes in the regional championship last weekend in Las Vegas, NV. Team riders Cody Wilson & Nathan Mellone took command and put their Power Bar fuel to use and won 1st and 2nd place titles in the 22-29 Expert ranking. Koby Lopez also put down a 1st in the series along with Mike Dolan taking a 3rd, Julion Jasinski in 4th & Keith Mellone in 5th,

It's been a month since you heard from us but it sur didn't feel like 30 days. We have been all over the racing scene at the state championships and in New Mexico. You can read about all the riders results from our team in the November Gate 8. This weekend we will be in force for the 1st UCI race of 2007 at the NBL National in Las Vegas, NV followed next weekend by the NBL State Commisioners Cup. During the month the Regional Champions will also be crowned so stay tuned for the top contenders on our team and their results to follow.

Our team moves into October with our CA & NV Riders both racing in their home states championship this upcoming weekend. The following weekend our CA guys will be in Ontario, CA for the ABA Double Point Race and team rider Cody Wilson will be at the ABA Fall Nationals in New Mexico at the end of the month. As the NBL National season has some closure and we gear up for the 2007 Season beginning for our team in just over a month in Las Vegas, Nevada we are still busy racing. At the start of next month our schedule shows the ABA Redline Cup Finals and the State Championships for both our California & Nevada riders in the NBL. It's been a litlte while since anyone has heard any news brewing this month from our team but we have been busy on the Eliminator Summer Tour and coming in August we have no plans to stop so look for the Gate 8 Newsletter coming next weekend as we are in Lucerne Valley for the NBL Warnicke Race and Lake Perris for a state race the first weekend in August. This weekend we will be running some more ABA State races in Ontario and Simi Valley. Already excelling in the ABA State series this year is Nathan Mellone & Hector Concepcion as they lead the board in the state points so far.

The havoc continues this weekend our team riders head to Arvada, Colorado for the NBL Regional & to Southern California for State series race at Horsemens BMX in Apple Valley, CA and to the ABA 909 series. The past 3 weeks have been ful of racing and after coming away with a bunch of 1st places last weekend at the NBL State racing in Taft, CA we are ready to prove for another weekend why we have such a great program.

How can we top June after last week? After attending the NBL State Qualifier in Lucerne Valley, CA 3 of our riders were featured in pictures in the local newspaper article about the races. Just days later everyone is getting the NBL BMX Today Magazine for June and again on page 41 features Eliminator Rider Sam Meek in a picture. Check out both of these articles in our "in the media" section. This weekend our Nevada riders will be in Ely, NV doing some state racing and our California Crew will be at Orange Y for the ABA Redline Cup.

In May both an ABA & NBL National were attended along with 3 Race For Life Events for the ABA. This past weekend our team had some tough competition and some hard luck as none of our top expert riders were able to prevail to the main events. The previous weekend left our riders scrambling in the rain soaked NBL National and resulted in a main event crash by Robert Phillips. Now that summer is here look for the full summer tour shortly as June shows us lined up for 2 NBL State Races, an ABA Redline Cup, and a NBL Regional in Colorado. Check back for the Team Newsletter in just a few days after Cody Wilson attends an Elementary school to promote BMX Racing and the Eliminator Racing Sponsors.

Did You Know The Simple Fact that every day there is an Eliminator Racing Rider on a BMX track somewhere in the west coast of the nation representing all of our Sponsors! With that in mind we will be in Cathedral City this weekend for the Race For Life sanctioned by the ABA and will be at another the following weekend in Ontario, CA followed by the ABA Spring Nationals in Perris, CA at the end of the month. Don't forget the ABA 909 series this weekend will be another event in attendance by our team. This coming weekend look for our team at two events in both Sanctions. On the National Bicycle League Circuit we will be racing at the Nevada State series event in Las Vegas, Nevada at Nellis BMX and Team Manager Cody Wilson will be racing at Oak Creek BMX in Roseville, California for the American Bicycle Association U.S. Nationals. On the last weekend of the month the entire team will reunite in Lucerne Valley, CA at X-Roads BMX for the NBL Regional just like we started the month in Taft, CA at Monster BMX.

This coming weekend of the 18th Cody Wilson & Nathan Mellone will be at the ABA Great Northwest National In Pasco, WA. Nathan heads into this race after being crowned the 909 Series Champion just last weekend in the rain at Orange Show BMX and Cody finished in 2nd for the series after spending March 10th at the Lucerne Valley Elementary School promoting the Eliminator BMX Racing Team, It's proud sponsor list and the sport of BMX to further gain interest in the Local NBL BMX Program in Southern California. In 2 weeks we will be in Las Vegas, Nevada for the NBL / UCI Silver State National at Nellis BMX.

This weekend our team travels to Boulder City, NV for the NBL National after last weekend our team had a little tune up session at the ABA So Cal Nationals In Bakersfield, CA and with a few main event showings, our outlook for this weekends NBL Boulder Dam National in Boulder City, NV looks great. Cody Wilson took 8th Place in the Main Event along with Robert Phillips taking a 7th Place. Also in attendance last weekend was Mike Dolan, Nathan Mellone, & Koa Phillips. it's only the end of January and we are already walking away with titles. This past weekend at the ABA 909 Series in Southern California we took the Plate title in the 19-27 Expert class with Nathan Mellone. Also in attendance at the race was Cody Wilson taking 1st place for the race. Hector Concepcion is back from injury and in the process of making a complete comeback with racing and was out there tuning things up this past weekend. Koby Lopez was there to represent the sponsors and team colors in the 6 Expert class. Koby is ready for a great year as he gears up sitting in 1st place points for the NBL Regional Series. Ccheck out the 2006 Race Schedule that has started to build with National & Regional events along with State and a bunch of ABA Events to be added very soon.
